Prairie Kids Ride-On Racing Incorporated (PKRR) is a not for profit corporation that aims to provide a unique racing experience targeting a diverse population in Saskatchewan with a primary audience of children and youth ages 3-12 the entire family can enjoy. Furthermore, PKRR will deliver a larger than life experience for children with special needs and disabilities. PKRR also aims to offer employment to at-risk youths living in group homes or in the community.
The concept structure of the club is similar to Formula 1 Racing, (formula 1 racing is probably the most famous professional form of car racing, races are conducted in multiple circuit tracks), Production Racing (This type of racing is also known as showroom stock racing where unmodified cars compete with each other ) & Drag Racing (This type racing is the most basic forms of the sport, drag racing is a straight line competition done on streets or track, and their aim is to accelerate as fast as possible to beat opponents. Drag racing is held on a short distance track, generally few meters).
Members will congregate at designated location set out by the planning committee with their toddler to pre-teen with their ride-on car for a fun filled day of competitive racing. The club recognizes that not everyone is financially able to purchase a ride on car to compete, in this regard cars will be available for rent on the day of the event and in special circumstances rental fees will be waived.
PKRR will broadcast each event commentary and interviews with participants hosted by kids on our Kids YouTube channel.
PKRR is committed to providing a safe space for members and their families to enjoy a fun filled activity where every child is a champion.
